Terranea Resort is currently seeking a dynamic and analytical Director of Revenue Management (Onsite) to join our team. Our luxury resort, nestled in Rancho Palos Verdes, offers a multi-room category experience, providing an ideal backdrop for those seeking a career in revenue optimization within the hospitality industry. As the Director of Revenue Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our revenue strategy and maximizing profitability. Collaborating closely with sales, marketing, finance, and hotel operations teams, you will analyze market trends, negotiate partnerships, and implement innovative strategies to drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute revenue management strategies to optimize room inventory and rates.
  • Collaborate with resort teams to implement competitive transient and sales strategies.
  • Provide guidance to sales and hotel operations teams to maximize revenue potential across all distribution channels.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of key performance indicators and trends, presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Foster an innovative and collaborative environment to drive continuous improvement.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Exceed annual revenue goals through strategic planning and execution.
  • Review and refine revenue management strategy based on market trends and customer segments.
  • Oversee day-to-day execution of revenue management plan, maintaining a rolling 18-month forecast.
  • Drive group business strategy and electronic distribution initiatives.
  • Optimize pricing and inventory across all revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to maximize ROI and align with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of revenue management experience in mid-size to large branded or independent resort.
  • Familiarity with industry systems such as STR, Hotelligence, SynXis, Opera, IDeaS, Datavision, Lighthouse, and Demand 360.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of success in revenue management within the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Compensation

Base pay salary range: $145,000 - $175,000/yr. + Bonus Incentive
